　"On the Sunny Side of the Street" is a 1930 song composed by Jimmy McHugh with lyrics by Dorothy Fields. Some authors say that Fats Waller was the composer, but he sold the rights to the song. It was introduced in the Broadway musical Lew Leslie's International Revue starring Harry Richman and Gertrude Lawrence.Richman and Ted Lewis enjoyed hit records with the song in 1930.

　The era was a time when many people were in poverty due to the Great Depression that began in 1929.

The latter half of the scat is not something we can easily do. It is a video that feels her sense very much. I was doing the back and it was great to feel really coming. Kuri's drum is also a good support.

　高崎ケイノートの老舗企画。毎月第二土曜日のLive＆Jam Session、K Note Jazz Projectは2017.7.8現在 #147回通過しました。

桜はもう散ってしまったけれど 「さくらさくら」づくし

まずは曲の由来を調べてみる
日本古謡と表記される場合が多いが、実際は幕末、江戸で子供用の箏の手ほどき曲として作られたもの(作者不明)。もともと「咲いた桜」という歌詞がついていた。その優美なメロディから明治以降、歌として一般に広まり、現在の歌詞が付けられたものである。13小節目以降の違いで3通りのメロディがある。1888年（明治21）に発行された東京音楽学校の「箏曲集」に記載がある。日本の代表的な歌として国際的な場面で歌われることも多い。後世様々な編曲がなされているが、宮城道雄の『さくら変奏曲』が特に有名。　　　　　　(Wikipediaより引用）
幕末に作られた作者不明の箏の手ほどき曲で、明示時代以後に歌詞が付けられたものだそうです。

料理法
　さて、私の頭にある「さくらさくら」を題材として編曲リハモしてみる。ベースは単純な下降ライン。起承転結をつけにくいなあ。原曲には申し訳ないけど、アドリブのしやすいハコ（小節数）に直してみる。演奏後に気づいたことであるが、私の頭の中では「かすみか雲か　匂いぞ出ずる」は何故かカットされていた。後半は印象的な「Bm　C♯  Bm   C♯」のラインで色彩感を強調する。最後はMcCoy Tyner風のEm sus4 。
　いつも気をつけているのは原曲のテーマを美しく演奏して、なおかつJazzの語法で嚥下消化すること。前週のピアノのレッスンにF師匠にアレンジ（コード、リズムのアイデア）のチェックを持ち込む。師匠は「またか」と苦笑しながら素晴らしいデモをしていただいた。

　さてこの演奏はジャムセッションに譜面を持ち込んで 練習なしの一発Takeです。私の演奏前の指示は「途中で原曲を離れてごりごりに花吹雪にしちゃいましょう」メンバーが瞬間に判断して音楽を作っていく　饗場君のalto saxはさすが。

さてこちらは以前にもご紹介した2011年の8月に高崎たまごホールでの被災したベーゼンドルファー復活コンサートでのピアノソロ　このソロのイメージから脱却するのは少々苦労しました。

Recipe 
Now, arrangement is carried out on the topic of "Sakura Sakura" in my head. A base is a simple downward line. It is hard to give introduction development turn and conclusion. Although I am sorry to the original melody, it changes to the number of vibrant tunes which adlib tends to carry out.

Candy, Jazz Guitar Quartet / K Note Jazz Project 100回記念

2004年9月にスタートした K Note Jazz Project 記念すべき第100回目のゲストは樫山英人氏@佐久でした。このゲストセッションを通じて音楽仲間が広がっていくことはとても楽しい。また古くからの音楽仲間である山中氏(b)、最近結婚した神山君(d)の素晴らしいサポートに支えられて続いている。
実は私が企画するという意味でのリーダーセッションはこのprojectだけである。（他はサポートが多い）ゲストの手配、二部のセッションの進行など他のライブより数倍負担は重いが、鍛えられた部分は計り知れない。写真はpart 2のJamSessionのものです。
CandyはMark David,Joan Whitney,Alex Kramerの競作で1945年に書かれ、同年にNat King Coleが最初に録音しています。このアレンジは宮之上バージョンです。
ピアノがテーマのユニゾンのブロックコードについていけず、醜態をさらしていますが、後半の勢いに免じてアップしました。この動画画像は Fujifilum X10 HDモードで撮像しています。いつもはピアノの近くに置いたRolland R-26の音声を処理してFinal Cut Xで合成処理をするのですが、録音に失敗したためこれはデジカメX10での音声のままです。

 The 100th guest with memorable K Note Jazz Project started in September, 2004 was Hideto Kashiyama Mr. @ Saku. It is very pleasant that a music friend spreads through this guest session. Moreover, wonderful support of Mr. Yamanaka (b) who is a longtime music friend, and Mr. Kamiyama (d) who got married recently is supported and followed. The leader session in the meaning that I plan in fact is only this project. (Others have much support)
The portion trained in the leader session although the several time burden was heavier than other live, such as a guest's arrangements and advance of the session of two copies, is unfathomable. photograph is a thing of JamSession of part 2.
 Candy is written by competitive production of Mark David, Joan Whitney, and Alex Kramer in 1945, and Nat King Cole is recording it first in the same year.
 This animation picture is picturized in Fujifilum X10 HD mode. Although the sound of Rolland R-26 always placed near the piano is processed and a compositing process is carried out by Final Cut X, since recording went wrong, this is still a sound in the digital camera X10.

年の差なんて..... Not a problem in the difference of age ?

It is not a problem in the difference of age.
The guest of the Takasaki K Note Jazz Place on April 14, 2013 was Mr. Hosoya of the Gunma University Aramaki jazz group of 20 years old.
Jazz is completely wonderful music.
If it is performing together, he will not be conscious at all in the difference of age.
honest -- his age is younger than two children of mine.

2013年4月14日の高崎ケイノートのゲストは20歳の群馬大学荒牧ジャズ研究会の細谷君でした。
まったくジャズというのは不思議な音楽です。
一緒に演奏していると年齢の差なんて全く意識されない。
正直彼の年齢は私の二人の子供よりも若いのであるが。
私はジャズという音楽の強力な言語性にただただ驚かされます。
それにしても私はもう少しピアノが上手くなりたいものです。相変わらずぎくしゃくとしていて、私は私のピアノ演奏に不満足。
ジャズのスタンダードは何度も繰り返し弾いていると壁に突き当たってしまうことが多いものです。
このGreen Dolphin Streetという曲はなかなかアイデアがでてこないという点で私にとって苦手な、嫌いな曲です。
なかなか発想を転換するのは難しいものです。スタンダードの呪縛とでも言うのでしょうか？

 Bird and Dizzy Gillespie recorded several sessions in California between January 1945 and February 1946. Gillespie is sometimes credited as co-composer, but in Charlie Parker: His Music and Life author Carl Woideck says that in a 1949 article Parker accused Gillespie’s managers of tacking his name onto Parker compositions such as “Confirmation.” Dizzy’s California band recorded “Confirmation” in February 1946 but without Parker who failed to show up for the session.

毎月第二土曜日、高崎のケイノートで私のトリオにフロント奏者のゲストを招いてのライブセッションを行っている。 http://choro2648.blogspot.jp/2011/11/k-note-jazz-project-introduction-and.html 2013年の５月で通算100回になる。時にはプロの奏者を呼び、時には学生さんからピックアップしている。個人的にはカルテットのスタイルでフロントを背中からくすぐるのが楽しい。
　この第一部で店主コーナーという企画がある。だいたい4曲目に店主の松井氏選曲で乱入(?)していただくのだが、一曲だけ乱入というのはなかなか難しいらしい。この日の松井氏の演奏は、気鋭の饗場君に対抗心メラメラのアドリブに聞こえました。

In June 1956, immediately following a performance at a Philadelphia record store, Brown and Richie Powell embarked on a drive to Chicago for their next appearance. Powell's wife Nancy was at the wheel so that Clifford and Richie could sleep. While driving at night in the rain on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, west of Bedford, she lost control of the car and it went off the road (it has been reported that she may not have been wearing her glasses[citation needed] despite near-sightedness). All three were killed in the resulting crash. Brown is buried in Mt. セッション参加者の組み合わせで意外な音楽が生まれることがある。
この日は何故か男性ばかりピアニストが４人。女性はゼロという希有な状況であった。

ベースが休憩している間に亮太君がポロポロと弾き始めた。
そこに私が（思いつきで）乱入して始まったのが
猫がじゃれ合っているようなピアノ連弾。
お、こいつ行けるなということでで「イジメ」てみた。
しかし、イジメ返されてしまった。　要リベンジである。

『夜の豹』で 軽薄なプレイボーイ フランク・シナトラが
ストリッパーだった過去を隠してお金持ちの未亡人へと成り上がった
リタ・ヘイワースに向けて嫌味を込めて歌った曲。
直訳すると「あの女はアバズレだ！」と「淑女はふしだら」という邦訳になってしまいます。

『Tramp』の意味には ガスガスあるく人や、放浪者 、売春婦なんていうのもあるようですが、この曲の作曲された1930年代の時代背景を考えると
「社会の枠にとらわれず、自由に生きる女性を称賛している歌」なんでしょう。

"The Good Life" (originally "La Belle Vie" in French) is a popular song by Sacha Distel and 1934 born composer Jack Reardon, published in 1962. It was featured in the movie Seven Capital Sins.

The song is best known in the English-speaking world as a 1963 recording by Tony Bennett. He gained a number 18 hit on the U.S. pop singles chart with it; it also became one of his rarer UK Singles Chart hits, making it to number 27 there. "The Good Life" became one of Bennett's staple songs, and was featured on four of his top-selling albums, including 1994's MTV Unplugged: Tony Bennett and 2006's Duets: An American Classic, the latter featuring Billy Joel. ポルトガル語でDesafinadoは" 調子はずれの"という意味です。アントニオ カルロス ジョビン作曲、1962年にヒットしたボサノバの名曲です。ビルボードのイージーリスニングチャートで4位まであがりまし­た。
今年もBlue Note Tokyoで共演した松田靖弘氏をお招きしました。今年も「Coool」でした。なんてカッコいいんだろう。

高崎ケイノートは2004年6月にオープンした、ジャズを「聞く」とともに「やる」店。もともとサラリーマン＠サックス吹きの店主松井氏は、私が大学生の時から一緒にバンド活動を行っていた旧知の仲である。

K Note Jazz Projectは、2004年9月11日 ケイノートの最初のライブとしてピアノトリオでスタート。基本コンセプトは、トリオにフロントのゲストをプロアマ問わず迎えるという企画。仲間に恵まれ2013年5月で100回を通過。及ぶケイノートの最長ロングラン企画となった。

　プロはもちろん、がんばっているアマチュアのフロントプレイヤーに広く声をかけて（ある程度）しっかりとしたバックでのライブを経験してもらいたいと考えている。

レギュラーメンバーは　最初、私、山中幸一(b)、小川富士雄(dr)@バップジャズスクール校長　（2004年9月〜）でスタート、2007年10月から2014年7月までの７年間は神山昌美君(dr)がレギュラードラムをお願いしていました。2014年8月以降はレギュラードラムを固定せずに月替りで様々なドラマーに声をかけている。フロントとドラムが変わると音楽が変わる。
一部がゲストセッション、二部ホスト付きジャムセッションという企画。個人的には二部でバドワイザーを飲みながらリーダー（進行役）をすることが、とてもはまる。

Takasaki K Note Jazz Place was opened in June 2004, "Listen," and "do" Jazz shop. Mr.Matsui, owner of the K Note Jazz. is an old friend of mine as a saxphone player, had been a band together from the time of my college.
　K Note Jazz Project is the first start as a live trio of piano notes KaySeptember 11, 2004. The basic concept is planning a welcome guest inany pro-am in my front trio. Entered the seventh year in the planning oflong-endowed friend Kay notes, has passed 83 times in November 2011.Professionals, as well as voice over wide on the front of the amateurplayers luck (to some extent) want you to believe that the live experienceand solid at the back.
